The Employment Specialists, a leading staffing and recruitment agency is looking for experienced Traffic Flaggers for our customers in the Fraser Valley

OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team in the construction industry. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around construction sites. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in construction or utility locating is preferred.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including Caterpillar machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to operate various types of machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and graders.
  • Strong understanding of construction site protocols and safety measures.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control the flow of vehicles and pedestrians to ensure safety.
  • Communicate effectively with construction crew members to coordinate operations.
  • Assist in utility locating and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of site layouts, including potential hazards.
