Description
Responsibilities Supervise and ensure that Traffic Supervisors conduct daily toolbox talks and roll calls with traffic personnel (e.g., Flagmen, Traffic Management Teams, and Emergency Response Teams) to confirm adequate manpower deployment. Clearly communicate project requirements to supervisors and workers, ensuring full understanding and compliance. Oversee the implementation of traffic management in accordance with client specifications, approved drawings, and established guidelines. Carry out weekly compliance inspections with supervisors, document findings, and submit reports to maintain adherence to standards throughout the project. Conduct on-the-job training sessions focusing on safety, provide expert guidance, and continuously review and update existing procedures for improvement. Organize and document progress meetings with supervisors, ensuring proper reporting and timely submission to immediate superiors. Maintain strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company safety policies. Prepare and submit claims with complete documentation within stipulated timelines. Compile and deliver monthly traffic management and safety reports for client submission. Develop and prepare Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) as requested by clients. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Safety, or related field (Certificate holders with strong experience will also be considered). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in traffic management, highway maintenance, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with traffic management plans, safety guidelines, and client specifications in construction or highway environments. Certified Traffic Management Officer (TMO) from CIDB is compulsory.
