Join us as a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) in Wellington Traffic management is required at a variety of projects and events whether that be roadworks, resurfacing or installation of maintenance works or footpath installations, to assisting at sporting events, community fairs, concerts and emergencies. In this crucial role you will ensure sites are safe for workers, motorists and pedestrians. You will implement traffic management plans that comply with NZTA standards, as well as identifying and mitigating potential safety risks on site. You will ensure open lines of communication between your crew and workers on site, plus the public. In addition to the above you will: Ensure correct signage, barriers, cones and other safety equipment are set up and maintained throughout the duration of the job Supervise a team of Traffic Management Operatives, whilst liaising with other site supervisors, contractors and the client Manage onsite traffic related incidents or emergencies. We’re looking for someone with: Minimum Class 1 Full license (Class 2 preferred). A valid STMS warrant/qualification (Cat A/B/C).
