Job Description The Traffic Manager / Road Diversion is responsible for developing and implementing road diversion schemes and traffic management plans for construction works for the pipeline project. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with site team, permit manager to contact the traffic authorities and contractors to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow during diversions and closure Coordinate with the permit manager to manage permits and liaise with local. Review and optimize methods of traffic diversion, monitoring compliance with relevant standards and legislation. Prepare method statements, risk assessments and traffic detour drawings; ensure materials, labour and plant are correctly planned for diversion works. Manage permits and liaise with local authorities, law enforcement, utility companies and public stakeholders. Track progress, report on diversion operations, cost‑control and improvement opportunities. What you will need to have: 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in traffic management, roadworks or method engineering in construction environments. Strong knowledge of traffic diversion design/implementation, temporary traffic control, and related regulatory standards. Proven ability to plan, coordinate and supervise diversion operations and traffic management activities. Excellent communication and stakeholder‑liaison skills. Proactive, methodical, capable of working both independently and in a team environment.
