Responsibilities

As a Traffic Engineer, your main responsibility will be to provide on-site traffic engineering services and technical support. This ensures the planning, implementation and maintenance of traffic management is carried out, according to specified guidelines.

Responsibilities of the role include;

  • Developing strategies for traffic management in accordance with best practices and HSE standards.
  • Collaborating with engineers and managers to identify traffic management needs based on project
  • designs and work methodologies.
  • Providing technical guidance to project staff to ensure aims and objectives are effectively and
  • economically achieved.
  • Reviewing traffic and transport matters and proposing innovative solutions for improvements.
  • Establishing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication on
  • traffic matters.
  • Ensuring site works conform to approved designs and road safety plans and audits.
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of our traffic contractors and engineers.
