Overview The operator moves the truck from the receiving department side of the building to the shipping side for pick up. The person for this position will play a critical role in getting much needed product to our neighbors. You can expect a fast-paced environment where you will be physically active and highly productive. The applicant should have attention on all safety protocols Responsibilities/Qualifications Trailer/Yard Spotter key responsibilities: Safely operate a yard jockey or trailer switcher Repositioning trailers to and from and between dock doors Compliance of safety equipment usage and safety policies application Required reporting and yard management Supporting facilities and or operations group as directed Training back up operators and support other duties as needed Trailer/Yard Spotter requirements include: 3-5 years’ operating Heavy Equipment/Tractor/Trailer or equivalent experience CDL Preferred Strong verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks Understands the importance of safety and operate equipment following our safety protocols About Company Pet Supplies Plus is focused on making it easier to get better products for your pet.
