The International Transportation Learning Center (ITLC), founded in 2001, is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to advancing public transit and other transportation sectors at the national level and within communities. To accomplish this mission, ITLC builds partnerships between labor and management that improve organizational capacity and expand worker skills and career opportunities.
ITLC is seeking experienced facilitators to facilitate our Train-the-Trainer (TtT) program. The TtT course helps subject matter experts (SMEs) and frontline leaders build the instructional and facilitation skills needed to effectively train others. This highly interactive course is built on adult learning principles and includes facilitation skills, lesson planning, learner engagement strategies, and practical teach-back sessions.
Facilitators will work as independent contractors to facilitate scheduled in-person TtT sessions throughout the U.S. This is not a full-time position, but rather a recurring opportunity based on course demand and facilitator availability. Each course is typically 5 days in length, often involving Sunday travel, and held onsite at participating agencies.
