Job Description Role: Agricultural Inspector Job Type: Permanent Location: Avonmouth, Bristol (Covering Southwest- Avonmouth/ Portbury) Hours: 48 hours annualised contract- Including days, evenings and weekends Salary: £30,476, including company car Industry: Natural Resources We’re looking for Agricultural Inspectors to join our dynamic team. This role is open to both fully qualified inspectors and motivated individuals seeking to start and train in this field. You'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards across the agricultural supply chain, ensuring safety, compliance, and integrity in everything we do. Key Accountabilities: Conduct inspections of agricultural products and facilities Perform sampling, grading, and testing in line with industry standards Prepare accurate reports and documentation Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance and quality assurance Support training and development activities if joining in a trainee capacity Qualifications We welcome applications from: Trainees who are eager to learn, with a strong interest in agriculture and food standards, full training will be provided Experienced agricultural inspectors with relevant qualifications and industry knowledge Ideal Candidate Will Have: Good attention to detail Communication and reporting skills A willingness to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to travel as needed A full driving license (Essential) Additional Information At SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
