Purpose: The purpose of this intern is to support Application Managers and Beverage and Sweet Goods Personnels in daily making prototypes of applications and products for the customers and in execution of the Brief. Roles and Responsibilities: Update a database that can be used to organize the available stock of raw materials available (~2000 items) to the application laboratory. Make up prototypes following the formulations given. Update physical raw materials sample according to database. Carry out sensory or tasting preparation. Participate in tasting sessions with ACMs and Application manager to understand the dynamics of flavor application. Work with or liaise with the Application manager and Technician in the execution of the customer briefs daily. At the end of the internship, the intern will Gain ample opportunity in learning about flavor business, its products, technologies and history Be comfortable with interaction with stakeholders in other departments (eg analytical, application, marketing, quality assurance, sensory evaluation & sales) The students will have acquired practical hands on experience in application development, sensory evaluation. Requirements: Degree or Ndip in food Science, Technology or Analytical Chemistry The person must be open to work for one year.
