We are currently looking for a motivated and practical individual to join our production team as a Trainee CNC Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialised and growing industry, with full training provided.

SKILLS AND QUALITIES

• Keen interest in learning the full fabrication process of solid surface worktops.
• Willingness to work with hand tools and power tools (full training provided).
• Basic maths skills to ensure precision in measuring and cutting.
• Ability to follow instructions carefully, work independently, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning.

• Safe and accurate operation of CNC machinery and hand tools to fabricate stone worktops.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to understand machining requirements.
• Use the full range of fabrication tools and techniques to produce solid surface worktops (Granite/Quartz) to high quality standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure consistent performance.
• Conduct detailed quality checks on finished products, including measurements and surface finish.
• Work closely with other team members to support continuous improvement in the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in line with company health and safety policies.
