KONE Corporate Financial Controlling is the guardian of financial compliance of KONE and involves financial reporting, record-to-report process and financial controlling for KONE’s Finnish legal entities. KONE Group Reporting as a part of Corporate Financial Controlling manages KONE’s global reporting and consolidation process and oversees the preparation of consolidated financial disclosures under IFRS. The team works closely with KONE’s business lines, country organizations and global functions, supporting them by driving a financially sound business direction and providing relevant intelligence for decision-making. KONE Corporate Financial Controlling and KONE Group Reporting are part of KONE Finance function.
We are now looking for a Trainee to join our Corporate Financial Controlling team.

In this role you will contribute to the following activities:

  • Monthly group consolidation and corporate reporting;
  • Preparation of quarterly interim reports/annual financial statements under IFRS;
  • Financial analysis and management reporting;
  • Support for other KONE units, subsidiaries, and functions in various accounting and reporting matters;
  • Development of accounting and reporting processes;
  • Any other additional tasks and projects based on your skills and aspirations.

To succeed in the r ole, you have:

  • B.Sc. in accounting/finance with strong academic record.
  • M.Sc. expected to be completed within the next 12 months.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English, Finnish is beneficial.
  • Positive attitude and openness to learn.
  • Relevant experience accounting, reporting, or IFRS is an asset.

The working hours/days will be agreed separately based on the selected candidate’s profile. The trainee position is approximately six months in duration and will be tailored to suit the candidate’s availability and individual circumstances. While we are working on a hybrid model, regular presence in the Espoo headquarters is essential for the role. The preferred start is in September 2025 .
