JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong organisational ability, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Trainee Dental Nurses will work towards becoming qualified and gaining a Level 3 Dental Nurse Diploma resulting in registering with the GDC.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • It is essential to have English and Maths GCSE at Grade C or above.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A caring attitude towards patients, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.

  • Provide chairside support to patients..
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the management of appointments and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and practice policies.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
  • Utilise IT systems for record keeping and scheduling appointments as required.
  • To include working on reception when needed, booking appointments, answering the telephone and taking payments.
