Responsibilities:
- Assisting the dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
- Taking and developing dental x-rays
- Providing oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Taking patient medical histories and recording vital signs
- Assisting with dental lab work as needed
- Scheduling patient appointments and managing the dental office’s appointment book
- Maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays and operating dental equipment
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
Note: Prior experience as a Dental Nurse is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of dentistry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
