Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive dental team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in dental healthcare. You will work closely with dentists, Therapist and other team members to provide high-quality patient care and support the day-to-day running of the practice. Full training will be provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A genuine interest in dentistry and patient care
  • Commitment to enrolling in and completing a recognized dental nursing qualification (NEBDN or equivalent)
  • Good communication skills and a caring, professional attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
  • Basic IT skills (for record-keeping and admin tasks)
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is a plus, but not essential
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments, materials, and equipment
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention and control procedures
  • Support patients before, during, and after treatment, ensuring their comfort and care
  • Accurately maintain patient records and complete relevant paperwork
  • Carry out administrative duties such as appointment booking and stock ordering when required
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide excellent service and patient care
  • Attend and participate in training sessions and team meetings
  • Complete coursework and attend classes as part of the dental nurse training program
