We’re looking for a trainee dental nurse to join our friendly team at White Gables Dental Practice in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. The role will give you an opportunity to gain hands-on experience while you work towards your formal qualifications, with the assurance of a long-term career at a caring independent practice for the right candidate.
You must be
- Enrolled on to a National Diploma Dental Nursing course upon hiring.
- Calm, confident and kind (those qualities are really reassuring to patients).
- Friendly, reliable and willing to learn new skills.
· Organised with excellent co-ordination and communication skills.
- Flexible and able to work with others in a busy team environment.
- Perceptive and able to use your own initiative.
- Diligent and accurate.
- Well presented.
- Nice (but not essential)
Because we’re based in North Wales, it’d be the cherry on top if you can converse in Welsh.
Working as a dental nurse
· Providing chair-side support to dental clinicians/hygienists.
· Ensuring regulations and procedures are diligently followed.
· Providing excellent patient care.
· Cleaning equipment and instruments.
· Updating patient records.
· Reception duties.
