JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Dental Technician to join our dental lab team. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and mentorship in the creation of dental appliances, including dentures, and orthodontic devices. This role offers a chance to work alongside experienced technicians while learning the technical skills required to succeed in the field.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • No prior experience required (training will be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • A keen interest in learning the technical aspects of dental technology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with team members and dental professionals.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the fabrication of dental prosthetics including, dentures, and orthodontic appliances..
  • Work with dental models, waxes, resins, and various other materials to create accurate and high-quality dental devices.
  • Prepare, maintain, and sterilize equipment and tools following strict infection control procedures.
  • Follow instructions from senior technicians and perform tasks to a high standard of precision.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with the lab’s inventory management, including ordering and restocking materials.
  • Participate in continuing education and training as directed to keep up with advancements in dental technology.
