What’s on offer?
We are looking to build on our core team with the addition of experienced Trainee Directional Drill Operators and Trackers to work on key projects within our Fulton Hogan Trenchless Technologies business. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in works across multiple projects, with the potential for regional work. In this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Operating directional drill rigs and trackers, mud mixing systems, civil trucks and vacuum excavation units
  • Safe set up of job sites in accordance with worksite requirements
  • Interpreting DBYD plans and locating underground assets before works commence
  • Completing safety, environmental and quality forms
  • Maintaining site plant to ensure they are kept clean and in safe working order
  • Reporting day to day productivity and issues through to supervisor
  • Implementing safety and environmental controls.

How you’ll connect to the role:

  • Hold a drivers licence as a minimum, HR/HC licence is a bonus
  • General civil construction experience, installing pit and pipe highly desirable
  • Mechanical aptitude is not essential but favourable
  • Competent in use of equipment and hand tools
  • Strong communication, organisational skills, punctual and team player
  • Good awareness of safety and environmental obligations
