JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Trainee Essential Services Technician, you’ll work closely with experienced professionals to service and maintain Essential Safety Measures in line with Australian Standards. You will receive structured, on-the-job training and complete a Certificate II in Fire Equipment Maintenance, with the goal of gaining a restricted licence in Hose Reel and Hydrant Testing.
What you will be doing

With training and support, you will:

• Inspect, test, maintain, and repair:

o Portable fire protection equipment
o Hose reels and hydrant valves
o Emergency and exit lighting
o Signage and means of egress

o Fire and smoke doors

• Accurately complete service reports and document defects
• Assist with quoting repairs and equipment replacements
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
• Adhere to company and client safety standards and policies
• Attend and complete all required training sessions
