Brite Dental Edinburgh has an excellent opportunity available for a Trainee/Experienced Trainee Dental Nurse or Qualified Nurse to join our growing practice in Edinburgh.
If you are considering establishing your career as a Dental Nurse then this is the ideal first step in your career where you will receive training and support to become a fully trained, qualified Dental Nurse.
Working within a busy NHS and Private practice, you will gain experience with both chairside and reception duties, assisting our team of dental professionals with a wide variety of treatments.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
· Setting up the surgery for each patient
· Providing the Dentist/Therapist with the correct equipment and instruments
· Prepare and mix materials
· Assist during oral surgery / implant placement
· Offer support and reassurance to patients
· Carry out stock control
· Be the first point of contact to patients entering the reception
· Answering telephone queries and booking appointments
Experience within dentistry is preferred however, applicants with no experience will be considered. For the position of Trainee Dental Nurse you will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with the following attributes:
· Excellent communication skills with a friendly manner
· Enjoy working with people with the ability to work well as part of a team
· Highly organised with some IT ability
· A background in customer service is desirable

Thursday 8.45am-7.15pm
Friday 8.45am-2.15pm
