JOB SUMMARY

Are you currently a qualified fire extinguisher engineer looking for your next step in the fire industry? Are you looking for technical development and a more challenging career in fire protection? If so Bull Products Ltd has an exciting opportunity for you.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Trainee Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extinguisher servicing and installation experience and be willing to learn how to service and install a range of temporary fire alarm systems.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Full UK drivers’ license (essential).
  • BAFE certification (essential).
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills (essential).
  • Good IT skills (essential).
  • Flexible approach and willingness to travel (essential).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail (essential).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment (essential).
  • Some existing fire alarm experience (desirable).
  • IPAF and PASMA (desirable).
  • CSCS or ECS (desirable).
  • Basic electrical knowledge relevant to fire alarm systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing and final fix of portable fire fighting equipment at our customers sites.
  • Completing paperwork and all required documentation as requested by the Service Department and within agreed SLA’s
  • Being accountable for and ensuring effective self management, planning and delivery of the designated workload.
  • Conducting site surveys for the provision of new equipment.
  • Travel to depots to replenish van stock and maintain an accurate count of all stock levels.
  • Train and develop on our bespoke SiteProtect temporary alarm system.
  • Train and develop on our bespoke SiteNet temporary alarm system.
  • Conducting fault finding and repairs on customer equipment.
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture by adhering to company policies and processes at all times.
  • Achieve key performance indicators and objectives as set out by the organisation.
  • To communicate and work effectively within the Bull Products Ltd team.
