This role is for our expanding catering department, we require a trainee fish monger/ blockman
The position is working for one of the leading suppliers of fresh fish and seafood on the south coast and is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to start a career in a well-established company with excellent prospects and career progression.
No previous experience is necessary however you will be required to attend a trial shift to assess your ability to learn from our shift supervisor. If successful, you will learn to prepare fish and shellfish to the highest standard for our catering department, following our 4 step training plan which includes clear pay incentives as you learn and become a highly skilled member of our team.
Shift Patterns are (5 shifts per week)
Monday to Friday 6am - Finish (usually around 3pm)
Saturday - 5am - 12pm
Days off will be rota on a weekly basis. Includes working Saturdays.
Daily job finish can vary and is dependent on the time of year etc. This can be discussed in more detail at interview.
