We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic & reliable Front of House staff member with at least a years experience in front of house work to join our team at our busy food led pub to help us deliver a great service and dining experience to our customers; and to train as a duty supervisor.
Shifts will include days, evenings and weekend/bank holiday hours which will be discussed further at interview.

ABOUT US:

The Angel is a busy, independent food led pub in a tourist area consisting of a large restaurant, smaller dog friendly dining room and a large outdoor seating area. We strive to offer great traditional home cooked pub food, decent beers and a lovely, warm welcome.
We are in a rural location and so access to your own, personal mode of transport is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
  • Cover bar and waiting duties when required
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with current supervisors and the kitchen to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Ensure service standards, product knowledge, and customer interactions are spot on at all times
  • Assist supervisor with stocking up and ensure all tables are laid prior to service if on early shift and cleaned down at end of shift if required
  • Uphold health & safety standards in all areas of service

When progression to supervisor role is achieved, responsibilities will then include:

  • Supervising Front of House team in the absence of the manager and being responsible for the quality of service delivered by the team
  • Ensuring team members understand their duties and delegated tasks
  • Organise workflow
  • Opening up/locking up and ensuring building is secured at end of night
  • Cashing up at end of night
  • Handle customer inquiries, bookings, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
