GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Electro mechanical assembly and cabling of Broadcast Systems and Products, within the business unit.
Installation of technical infrastructure on client’s sites, in the UK, Europe and occasionally Worldwide.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

· Basic level of education, GCSE English & Maths.
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office an advantage.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD or drawing packages an advantage.
· Full training of specific techniques, skills and business packages will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £19,240.00-£23,495.00 per year

Responsibilities

· Pre-fabrication (cut to length , ident and terminate) of cable assemblies, working to a detailed cable schedule.
· Electro-mechanical assembly of broadcast related Products, working to detailed instructions and gold standard references.
· Electro-mechanical installation of equipment bays, both in the unit and on a client’s site, working to layouts, schematics and detailed cable schedules.
· Installation of broadcast related Technical Infrastructure on a client’s site. Typically, this could be a broadcast centre, TV studio, edit suite, graphics areas, control rooms, news areas.
· Installation of cabling within technical furniture, working to a cable schedule and layout drawings.
· Mechanical assembly of satellite (Satsio) systems.
· Preparation of installation and site kits.
· Assisting the Logistics department as required.
· Following safety instructions from the appointed Supervisor and being able to work to safety guidance, Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
· Your own and others safety affected by your work.
· Working in an environmentally friendly manner.
