We are seeking a Trainee Land and Measured Building Surveyor to join our expanding team near Aust, Bristol.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surveyors in conducting topographical and measured building surveys using a variety of surveying technology, including GNSS, laser scanners, drones and total stations.
• Collaborate with the team to prepare detailed CAD plans for clients.
• Participate in site visits, assisting with equipment setup and data capture.

Requirements:

• Keen interest in surveying, mapping and drone technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Be punctual, professional and hard working.
• Willingness to travel and work outside throughout the year, in all weather conditions.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic proficiency in computer software (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Experience using CAD software is desirable but not essential.
• Be able to reliably commute to our office.
• A valid UK driving licence is essential (or working towards gaining their licence).

South West Surveys is a small surveying company based out of Aust, Bristol. Established in 2015.
We travel throughout the UK delivering fast, effective, highly detailed and accurate surveys using the latest data collection technologies available.
A large number of our projects are based in the South West, Wales and M4 Corridor and across the Midlands. We do however work with a number of larger clients on projects across the United Kingdom.
