Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity We have an opportunity for a Trainee Line Mechanic (Transmission) to join Downer’s team based in Taupō. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced Line Mechanics and Supervisors, learning the skills required to support the construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of transmission network equipment and installations. You’ll complete required training and study towards registration and a practising certificate, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field. You’ll be supported through structured development, additional training as agreed, and exposure to a variety of work activities.
