Job Description Start your career in sustainability consulting with our 12-month Trainee Programme at Unique Land Use GmbH. This is not an internship, but a structured entry programme for graduates and early-career professionals who want to develop into confident consultants. From the beginning, you will be integrated into portfolio and project teams and gain practical insights into the different facets of consulting. You will receive technical training in your assigned topics and work with relevant tools, services and standards, for example in carbon certification, specific methodologies, project management, etc.. The programme aims to help you define a thematic focus, build expertise and take increasing responsibility within a team setting Requirements You have completed a Master’s degree, PhD, or an equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline. You are interested in starting or developing your career in sustainable land use, climate, forestry, agriculture and rural development, or digital solutions. You take initiative and are motivated to shape your own learning and professional development. You are interested in building technical and consulting skills. You enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary project teams and are open to learning from colleagues across the organisation. You are fluent in English and at least one additional language. What we offer A structured 12-month Trainee Programme with a monthly salary of €3,000, including a Hansefit membership for sports and health activities. A monthly contribution of €30 towards the Deutschlandticket. An individual trainee plan, developed during your first month together with your department head and mentor. A dedicated contact person for your professional and career development, as well as a trainee buddy for everyday questions. Hands-on learning through real consulting projects, with sufficient time to settle into your role and develop your skills. Company-wide training on our purpose, strategy and culture, as well as the different teams, processes and tools at Unique. Regular check-ins, a performance and integration review after three months, and a mid-term feedback meeting. A professional development budget of up to €2,000 for external training and personal development, including travel expenses. The opportunity to take part in at least one joint field mission and actively contribute to internal knowledge exchange.
