Tay Recruitment is recruiting Technical Engineers and Trainee Technical Engineers to detect and solve problems that arise in their given discipline. As a Technical Engineer you may build or set up equipment, make models of new equipment, test products, collect data, or help design and develop products.

Our client operates within ISO 9001, which is a system ensuring that zero defects, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement are core philosophies within the business. The Technical Department consists of a team of Technical Engineers who are the face of the Company to our Customers, providing the vital link between the Customer and Manufacturing.

• You will be customer specific
• Dealing with all enquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
• All new business enquiries are channelled through a tightly controlled system of feasibility, quotation, and sample submission before release to the shop floor.
• The Technical Engineers control all aspects of this process.
• You will contribute positively within the structure of the department
• Assist experienced engineers to ensure smooth running of the department

• Communication – verbal and written
• Numerate – to be able to understand analytical information taken from specifications
• Information technology – use of integrated packages
• Build of engineering samples/prototypes etc. – manual dexterity and attention to detail required
• Research – to obtain technical information via different channels
• Computer Literate

• Design, develop, implement, and test technical solutions based on business requirements
• Identify potential issues and integrate possible solutions
• Identify and assist in developing enhancement opportunities across the enterprise through innovation and automation
• Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful results
• Engage with management regularly, reporting on project status, activity, and achievements
