ABOUT MOBIO

Founded in 2019, Mobio Distribution set out to provide premium smartphone components to the UK repair industry. Since then, we’ve seen rapid growth and expanded into multiple areas of business, becoming a trusted partner to repair shops, distributors, and suppliers across the UK.
Our team is made up of dedicated, hardworking individuals who take pride in what they do. We’ve built a workplace culture that’s fast-paced, supportive, and enjoyable—where collaboration and growth are part of everyday life.
As we continue to grow, we’re always looking for motivated people to join us on our journey.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for someone hands-on, curious, and eager to learn. You don’t need prior experience in phone repairs – just a keen interest in technology and the drive to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Mobile Phone Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology and eager to learn about mobile phone repair and maintenance. The position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic environment, with a structured training programme over three months to enhance your expertise in computer networking, computer repair, and hardware troubleshooting.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

As a Trainee Mobile Phone Technician, you’ll receive full training in:

  • Repairing and servicing of mobile phones, learning to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Utilising hand tools to disassemble and reassemble devices under supervision
  • Interpreting schematics and technical manuals to guide repairs
  • Conducting software updates and installations with guidance
  • Testing functionality post-repair to ensure quality standards are met
  • Diagnosing faults in smartphones and tablets
  • Screen, battery and component replacements
  • Safe handling of small parts and tools
  • Maintaining a tidy and efficient workspace

This is a hands-on role where you’ll build your skills step-by-step, working alongside experienced technicians.
