We’re looking for Mobile Speed Camera Operators to join the team in Deniliquin reporting to our Operations Manager and working closely with the control room team. We’re seeking locals who are interested in road safety systems, work health and safety procedures and how to report road safety hazards.
Our Operators are skilled and trained to work alone in an enforcement vehicle that links to a control centre. It is a physical role with unusual hours and early and late starts, you’ll work a 24/7 rotating roster including nights and weekends.

In the role you will:

• Fully adhere to all road rules and demonstrate safe driving behaviour at all times
• Perform a risk assessment of the site before each enforcement session and report sites that are unusable, taking photos when required
• Coordinate with the control room for camera set up and testing before session commencement
• Remain alert and attentive during an enforcement session, and maintain regular communications with the control room throughout the shift
• Adhere to standard operating procedures in responding to angry or aggressive behaviour
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
