As a Trainee Mould Specialist, you will have the following core skills and strengths:

  • Multi skilled with a minimum C&G L2 in painting and decorating, albeit not essential and either experience or a desire to be trained in the specification of ventilation solutions
  • Elevated level of numeracy and literacy
  • IT skills including MS word and excel ability
  • Clean driving licence
  • High level of self-motivation, self-organisation and determination
  • The ability to provide excellent customer empathy and communication
  • You must be initiative-taking, comfortable with decision making and be comfortable with lone working.

Experience:

Responsibilities

Reporting directly to Regional Business Manager, the successful candidate you must be able to work independently as well as becoming a key part of a team of other surveyors, engineers, decorators and specialists. You will visit private and social housing properties, to undertake mould application treatments and the use of a variety of anti-mould paints. Additionally, there is a requirement to complete surveys and assessments, performance measurements, and surveying with the sampling of the indoor environment and ventilation systems. You will be expected to produce written technical reports. On occasion you may be asked to work weekends and stay away.
