In order to support our rapidly growing business, eTest are seeking to recruit Trainee Technicians, looking for a career in the Oil & Gas Industry.
Work will be based onshore at our Kintore facility, with overtime and nightshift work available at overtime rates.
Applicants must be hard working and conscientious, with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Duties will include:

• Assisting NDT technicians with all tasks including Radiography and Surface Inspection
• Assisting Hydrotest technicians with bolting, flanging and pressurisation of tests
• Maintenance of darkroom, developing radiographic films and carrying out function checks
• Assisting with overhead crane movement and loading /unloading of vehicles
• Compiling NDT / Hydrotest reports
• General workshop tasks

Qualifications – Basic Microsoft / IT Skills, English and Maths to National 5 or equivalent.
Full training will be given on the job.
Previous work experience within the field would be an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications / Relevant Experience:

• Ability to learn with view to obtain qualifications
• Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Works well within a team, whilst having the ability to be self-motivated
• IT Skills: MS Word and Excel
• Driving licence and FLT certificate an advantage
