Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
1 x permanent post, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapies team as a Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner however, if the candidate holds the necessary advanced practice qualifications, the post would be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. This will be a Monday – Friday role, core hours based within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. The post holder will work closely alongside co-ordinators, trials, medical and nursing teams.
Candidates should have Clinical Haematology nursing experience. Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical Prescribing qualifications are desirable. If the successful candidate does not hold these qualifications they will be supported through the process of obtaining them.
Please contact Alyson McArdle (Alyson.McArdle@nhs.scot) for an informal discussion about the position.
