We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Nursery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. As a Trainee Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of the nursery, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
  • A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills are beneficial for guiding activities and supporting team dynamics.

Requirements

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience of working in an employed role
  • An enhanced DBS check or willing to undergo one
  • Ability to provide two references, one of which must be a current or previous employer
  • Patient, reliable and a caring attitude
  • GCSE in English and Maths at C grade or above
