OVERVIEW

Working as part of our existing Operations team, we require a Trainee Manager to support the Operations Manager in managing all areas of our Primary Operations team, while developing their career in the food manufacturing industry and make a positive contribution to the Company’s future growth.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly food or meat
  • Qualification in a business or Agri-Food related discipline

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Primary Operations Manager, this position will involve training in all departments throughout our Primary Operations team to ensure the efficient organisation and running of each department to help maintain and improve upon our high standards of customer service, health, safety and food safety and quality. The successful candidate will also develop a thorough understanding of the roles of other departments across the business and how these teams work together to meet the needs of our customers and further grow the business.
This position would be suitable for someone keen to develop their career in a fast-paced environment. Someone with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team, with good planning and organisational skills accompanied by excellent communication, leadership, interpersonal and IT skills.
The successful candidate will be supported through a robust training programme.
This role operates on a Monday to Friday basis, working hours are 7am to 4pm.
