OVERVIEW

We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly person to train to become a Paralegal Assistant within our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide support to our legal professionals. This role is perfect for an outgoing, articulate, friendly person with strong motivation to learn new skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and general IT skills.
  • Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Previous experience in a legal setting or as a paralegal assistant is advantageous but not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadings.
  • To perform front line telephone and in person reception duties.
  • To action requests from other team members including the collection and delivery of documents.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other professionals
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain the diary of appointments.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations throughout all tasks.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
