Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our People & Culture team provides a service across the whole organisation stretching from Skegness to Scarborough. This role will be based at our Grimsby campuses with occasional cross-campus travel.
With the support of our People Partner, and People Advisors you will learn how to deliver proactive support. Studying for Level 3 or 5 CIPD dependant on experience, you will learn to understand the employee life cycle and provide advice and guidance to managers to help them work with their people. This is a great opportunity to advance your career within HR.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and though able to recognise and seek support from colleagues where appropriate is a key requirement for this role.

  • Excellent organisational skills; ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and multitask in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • An interest in people and helping others in the workplace
  • Ability to work as a team, ask questions and learn to achieve.
  • GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Prior experience within a HR role would be advantageous such as: understanding of current employment law and associated risk, generalist knowledge of HR processes and procedures and a background in employee relations
