As part of AKUH’s mission, we have been offering a one-year Hospital Pharmacy Training Programme for more than two decades. This training programme enrols fresh pharmacy graduates who pursue their career as a Hospital Pharmacist. It offers didactics and hands on experience in different sections of the Hospital Pharmacy. Selected candidates will be placed at the Off-Campus Hospitals located in Hyderabad. Responsibilities You will have the opportunity and exposure for hands-on practice on following specialties and learning experiences: inpatient pharmacy operations ambulatory pharmacy operations (Off-Campus Hospitals) sterile preparation pharmacy operations (IV piggyback and TPN services), non-sterile compounding operations and cytotoxic drug admixture (On rotation) clinical pharmacy including multidisciplinary rounds, therapeutic drug monitoring and patient counselling etc. (On rotation) drug and poison information centre (On rotation). Requirements You should have: Pharm D from HEC recognised / Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education accredited institute with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 / 65%25, proficiency in the use of computer applications excellent interpersonal skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently willingness to work in shifts. Upon successful completion of the training programme, full-time employment may be offered subject to satisfactory performance during the traineeship program and availability of positions.
