TRAINEE PPM PLANNER – SALFORD QUAYS

Marlowe Fire & Security is the fastest-growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Trainee PM Planner located at our Head Office in Salford Quays

For this specific opportunity, we are looking for candidates who offer:

  • Ideally, at least 6 months of experience in an office-based environment.
  • A clear communicator with a good telephone manner.
  • Good written/email communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills, such as accurate data inputting, sorting & filtering.
  • Customer Service experience would be an advantage but not mandatory.
  • This is a full-time, office-based role. We are very centrally located, with free parking on site and fantastic bus & metro stops within a 3–5-minute walk.
  • Our working hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm.
Responsibilities
  • Schedule all work within designated region in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Proactively monitor engineer’s activity to ensure that you touch base with all your engineers’ daily, ensuring early dispatch & attendance of first job & monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with your Engineers, Stores/Supply Chain Department & Regional Service Manager (RSM) to ensure all calls are actioned accordingly
  • Work closely with your manager and support your assigned Regional Service Manager (RSM) to meet customer expectations.
  • Liaise with key clients over the phone to enhance both internal & external working relationships
  • Completing the Regional Schedulers checklist on a daily, weekly & monthly basis maintaining an audit trail of this activity for yourself & your regional scheduler. Sharing weekly data with RSM
  • Monitor Scheduling Portal (Cash4Windows) to ensure real time visibility of your engineers, highlighting any anomalies to your RSM.
  • Retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Processing of orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice to be created
