REQUIREMENTS

• A can-do attitude to deal with day-to-day challenges
• Ability to work alongside our existing design and manufacturing team, working on exciting projects
• A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work productively without ongoing supervision
• Use of Solidworks software to design and develop products (initially assistance and support can be given, but a can-do attitude is a must)
• Use of other software packages as required (again initial assistance can be given)
• UK Driving License

DUTIES

• Development of new products, both within a small team and on your own at times
• Modelling of parts with CAD software, starting with simple parts and developing over time
• Researching materials for specific purposes
• Researching processes not currently done in-house
• Contacting and liaising with potential suppliers of goods and services
• Ordering raw materials and consumables
• Documenting processes and procedures
• Help with production of products, especially in the development stages
• Preparation of technical files for new and existing products, including development of instruction books etc
• Other varied duties as required
