ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • HNC or HND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Experience of PCB component soldering
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and reliability
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trainee Production Technician, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of device preparation — from hands-on assembly to final calibration and testing. You will work as part of a skilled production team ensuring all products meet our high standards of quality and compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble electronic and electromechanical medical devices to defined specifications
  • Set up, test, and calibrate equipment in line with regulatory and performance standards
  • Maintain accurate records and complete quality control documentation
  • Assist in raw materials stock management
  • Prepare devices for customer configuration and dispatch
  • Pack and ship products safely and efficiently
  • Collect and analyse performance data to support continuous improvement
