TRAINEE PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – SPECIALITY FUELS INDUSTRY

We’re working with a specialist fuel blending facility that’s seeking a motivated Trainee Production Operative to join their team. You’ll be part of a collaborative production team, working to execute blending operations and support daily site activities while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Trainee Production Operative, you’ll work across a variety of site operations – from managing tanker deliveries to executing blending plans and maintaining site housekeeping. You’ll be trained to handle plant machinery, follow precise operating procedures, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety. This hands-on role offers shift-based working and the chance to develop expertise in a niche, regulated production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute blending and product movement operations according to daily schedules
• Support safe and efficient tanker receipts, despatches, and decanting activities
• Maintain housekeeping and waste handling standards across the site
• Care for equipment and follow maintenance routines using MRS systems
• Assist in emergency response duties and act as a fire marshal (training provided)
• Communicate with your team to troubleshoot blending issues and suggest improvements
• Translate written work instructions into practical operational tasks
