We are on the search for a Trainee Property Consultant with a strong work ethic to join our office in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will have a passion for real estate, a strong customer service focus, and ultimately a positive upbeat attitude.
The Property Consultant will be responsible for conducting viewings, negotiating and handling offers with potential buyers / sellers. This role will also involve providing support to the agency’s listing agent and management team, helping them to market and promote properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct viewings with potential buyers
  • Conduct marketing activity such as posting flyers and other canvassing material
  • Follow up with buyers to ensure they are informed of the progress of the sale process
  • Learning how to negotiate property offers
  • Take detailed search criteria from clients and input them into our CRM
  • Maintain effective communication with all clients, colleagues, and other partners
  • Ensure all legal paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently
  • Keep up to date with the local property market
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Provide support to other team members as required

Requirements:

  • A “can do” and positive attitude
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in retail or hospitality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
