JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a desire to build their knowledge of construction and provide support to our Quantity Surveyor.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• A positive attitude to learning and self development.
• Confidence and a professional manner
• Candidate must have completed a National Diploma in Construction Management or similar (or be in the process of this)
• Good literary and mathematical skills
• A reasonable knowledge of Microsoft programmes: Excel, Work Ect.
• A driving License is preferred but not required.
• A ken eye for detail and a cautious approach to work; providing detailed work that is clear and highlights any missing information or questions that need to be answered.
  Job Type: Part-time
  Pay: £12.44-£15.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Peterborough PE2 6L

• Making enquiry phone calls to potential clients
• responding to E-mails and working with suppliers and sub-contractors
• General management of a live project (supported by QS)
• Carrying out measurements for Roofing, Plastering, Fencing, Masonry and other aspects of building
• Assessing applications for payment
• Carrying out site visits to live projects
