As a Trainee Registered Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our growth in your area of Dorset. You’ll be working closely with our experienced Regional Director who will be supporting you and showing you the ropes of leading a team of carers and seniors with a view to taking on more responsibility and developing your skills to be fully fledged manager.

Responsibilities

· Answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries from carers, clients, local authorities and other professional bodies
· Managing and completing rotas ensuring runs are tight and relevant to clients’ requirements for a minimum of 2 weeks in advance
· Supporting with the onboarding and recruitment of new carers, ensuring speedy and smooth process, working closely with recruitment team
· Completing weekly audits on medication and call monitoring
· Supporting with spot checks, supervisions, assessments, one to ones, appraisals, training for all carers and senior carers
· Ensuring the rostering and care planning system are fully up to date and completing audits on carers and clients’ weekly and monthly
· Attending networking events and other community events to ensure Homelium is promoted in the local community on a weekly basis
· Attending client’s home to complete reviews and update care plans as needed
· Supporting with care calls as and when required by the business
· Supporting with oncall duties once every three weeks
· Working supporting the regional registered branch director
· Ensure there are always adequate staff with the necessary skills on duty.
· Taking the lead responsibility for the development of the staff rota to comply with requirements in terms of numbers and skill mix whilst adhering to a conducive home/work life balance
· Ensuring all tasks are completing to a high standard and satisfactory to the relevant regulatory bodies
· Leading the team of senior carer and carers to ensure smooth day to day operations of the branch
· Ensuring the branch is following up on potential leads and maximising opportunities for growth at all times
· Deal with concerns, complaints and compliments
· Work towards relevant qualifications in the aim of taking the registered manager position within the Dorset Branch
