We are currently seeking a creative and detail-oriented Trainee Sign Maker.
Job Description:
As a trainee Sign Maker, you will play a crucial role in the production and installation of a wide variety of signs. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for craftsmanship who is looking to develop their skills in the sign-making industry. You will help to bring our clients’ visions to life, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sign-making equipment, including vinyl cutters, printers, and laminators.
• Prepare and assemble materials and substrates for sign production.
• Apply vinyl graphics to various surfaces with precision and care.
• Assist with the installation of signs at client locations, ensuring a professional finish.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace.
• Follow company procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• A can-do attitude and strong work ethic is essential
• Previous experience in sign making or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new techniques quickly.
• Physical ability to lift and carry materials, and work on ladders or scaffolding when necessary.
• A valid driver’s licence is preferred.
