Responsibilities

We are looking for teaching assistants to start as soon as possible, ready for the duration of the academic year. We welcome applications in Welsh and English. Applications submitted in Welsh will not be treated less favourably- we work with a number of Welsh-medium schools who also need support staff throughout the year.
We are working closely with a number of special needs settings in the south Wales area and are looking for people with a passion in supporting children with special needs. Prior experience is desirable but not essential.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons
  • Preparing and utilising resources around the classroom for each lesson
  • Using your own initiative
  • Developing literacy, numeracy and communication skills in children
  • Providing 1 to 1 support

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

Desirable, (but not essential):

  • Experience working with children
