TRAINEE TECHNICIAN

Our client is seeking a Trainee Technician, reporting to the Operations Director and is responsible for the assembly and in-process tests of the company’s products, while undertaking a structured training scheme.

· To assemble and test products in accordance with the relevant engineering procedures and the production schedule, in order that they meet the company’s strict quality standards.
· To formulate suggestions for continuous improvement of the production process and methods, with respect to increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
· To undertake a formal, structured training program covering all aspects of the role along with periodic placement with other departments within the company.
· General electrical assembly of products and sub-assemblies
· Collation of component kits from the stores
· General mechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies
· Inspection and testing of critical components
· Assistance in writing and maintenance of assembly procedures and methods
Skills and Experience required:
· Driven and willing to learn.
· Experience of using Microsoft Office 365
· 5 GCSEs A-C Grade including Maths and English
· You must be happy to work in a fast past environment with the emphasis on high customer demands.
