Job Purpose To ensure the successful execution of Pre-Factory Acceptance Tests (Pre-FAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for ICSS systems, panels, and Consoles. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Pre-FAT Activities: Coordinate with Panel Engineering Department for cabinet integration readiness and involve in staging activities /Power wiring /Signal test jig wiring • Inspect and verify wiring, terminations, and labeling of panels and systems. • Perform continuity and insulation resistance checks. • Perform IO Loop checks manually or using BOT(Tool) • Validate hardware installation against engineering drawings and BOM. • Prepare test setup and ensure readiness for FAT. • Prepare the Inspection test reports and records and co-ordinate with QA/QC/FSM Department for PRE-FAT and FAT clearances FAT Activities: • Execute functional tests of ICSS systems like DCS, ESD, FGS, BMS, etc. • Simulate I/O signals Loop Checks manually or using BOT • Document test results and ensure compliance with customer specifications. • Coordinate with engineering team for troubleshooting and corrective actions. Post - FAT Activities: • Co-ordinate for the punch closures of HW • Ensure the cabinets, Aux consoles are ready for final inspection by Quality Dept • Coordinate with Engineering team and PAQD and help in conducing the Pre-Packing and shipment checks. Qualification and Experience Diploma or Equivalent UAE qualification certification in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation. 2Years and above years of experience in panel assembly, wiring, and testing. (Freshers can be considered if they have an good attitude and learning skills) Knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, field instrumentation, and control logic will be preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and loop diagrams. Familiarity with test equipment (multimeter, megger, signal simulators). Good documentation and communication skills. Candidates with fast learning and team players will be preferred. Competencies Technical Expertise: Electrical testing, troubleshooting, and compliance checks. Quality Orientation: Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement. Communication: Clear reporting and coordination with teams. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards.
