QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM):

As a trainee Test Engineer, you will be enrolled in the Level 4 Software Testing qualification and will need the dedication to study and complete this. You will be expected to learn and extend certain skills to successfully fulfil the role. These include:

• Agile Methodologies and an understanding of the key principles to develop modern standards approach to testing.
• Experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery - Methodology and tools. (i.e., GIT, Azure DevOps).
• API cloud-based REST and XML services.

Our vision is to achieve the most effective approach to testing software and instilling quality into our tech stack in an agile environment. You will be working under supervision and alongside the engineering team to help design and develop test cases and execute these cases manually and ideally using automation.
We are looking for a Trainee Test Engineer who is ambitious and motivated to learn and implement ideas in all aspects of testing in an agile environment, to join our team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist under supervision software testing of products including functional, business requirements, performance, security, and accessibility.
• Understand the current ways of working and tooling set to drive our software testing.
• Grow your experience of software testing and your familiarity with industry standard techniques such as automated testing tools.
• Participate in defining test plans, prepare test data, and execute test case and report outcomes
• Willingness to learn and assist to assure the quality of our products and services are of a high standard.
