Responsibilities

The Unaccredited Trainee is the Junior within the Urology Surgical Department. The position is a Position 1.0 FTE – 38 hours per week including other sessions which are flexible and may be agreed upon by the Urology Head of Department and Training Supervisor. There may also be an educational opportunity for further clinical work to support the SET Trainees in assessment of emergency patients, seeing consults and assisting in the operating theatres as well as the routine functioning of the unit. You will be required to supervise the Urology Intern/Resident and at times function in this role in the advent of their absence. On call commitments will be 1:3.
